The project is engaged in construction and operation of a new wind power park (WPP) with a total installed capacity of not less than 107.5 MW in Donetsk Region of Ukraine by the company LLC “Wind Park Novoazovskiy”. The project anticipates the installation of 43 advanced wind turbines (with rated capacity of 2.5 MW). The project is currently selecting the manufacturer and wind turbine type, and is engaged in the construction of access roads and a maintenance base as well as constructing electricity infrastructure (WPP substation, cable lines, overhead transmission lines). In the project scenario, the environmentally sound electricity produced on this WPP will partly substitute the electricity from the Ukrainian electricity grid, decreasing respective carbon emissions from fossil fuel combustion in thermal power plants.
