Energy efficiency measures at the “Public Joint Stock Company Azovstal Iron & Steel Works”

The proposed project is aimed at the reduction of the CO2 emissions through the reduction of the coke consumption at BFW (Blast Furnace Workshop) of Azovstal. The project consists of several measures (or components) including the modernization and reconstruction of Blast Furnaces (BFs) and improvement and raw materials and fuels content changesfor BFs. It is necessary to stress that some of engineering solutions, such as ceramic packaging of the brickwork, control system of the gas flow are also being used in Ukraine for the first time.
