The proposed project is aimed at increasing the fuel efficiency, reliability, and availability of all four coal fired units rated at 300 MW each at Zuyevska TPP, which belong to DTEK Holding. The unit reconstruction consists of modernizing a steam turbine generator (STG), rehabilitating a boiler, a unit step-up transformer, modernizing a unit control system, switch room equipment, partially replacing circuit breakers, and improving ESP (electrostatic precipitators) operations. Under normal operating conditions, the specific fuel consumption of the plant decreases from the current value of approximately 10.523 to 10.04 GJ/MWh (from 359.059 to 342.5 g.c.e/kWh).
