Surgutskaya TPP-2 is the largest power plant operated by OJSC “OGK-4” and the largest power plant in Russia. The installed electrical capacity is 5,600 MW and the heat capacity is 840 Gcal/h. Two CCGT units, with a total electricity capacity of 800 MW, were installed and commissioned in mid-year 2011. The gross efficiency of each new unit is around 56%. Dry associated gas is used as the fuel.
