OJSC “Sukholozhskcement” is owned by the German cement producer Dyckerhoff AG since 1994. It is the eighth biggest cement producer in Russia and the largest cement plant in Ural with annual capacity of 2.6 million tons. The goal of this Joint Implementation (JI) project is to use a more energy efficient dry production process and thus significantly reduce the emissions associated with a cement production as well as increase the cement production capacity at the Sukhologskcement plant.
