Mordovcement is one of the largest cement manufacturing enterprises in the Russian Federation. It is located in Republic of Mordovia in town of Komsomolskiy. Its capacity is around 3,560 thousand tons of cement per year, produced by 8 wet kilns. In order to increase energy efficiency of the manufacturing process, the company decided to construct a semi-dry and dry technology line.
It is expected that significantly less natural gas will be required to produce same amount of cement compared to conventional wet cement manufacturing process.
