Implementation of energy efficiency measures at the CJSC Cement, Russia

This JI project is implemented at the CJSC Cement, a daughter of LSR Group enterprise in Russia. Its purpose is the construction of a new cement plant located in Slantsevskiy municipality, Leningrad Area, the city of Slantsy. The project introduces new and up to date cement capacity using natural gas and wastes as raw materials and satisfying growing demand. The new plant will produce clinker and cement. Its annual capacity will be 1.65 million tons of clinker or about 2 million tons of cement.
