JIAG published a position paper including recommendations to UNFCCC for JI post- 2012 improvement, 23 September 2009
The Joint Implementation Action Group (JIAG) published a position paper on its website that puts forward recommendations to UNFCCC negotiators to improve JI and adapt it to the requirements and features of post-2012 climate agreement. In particular the paper makes recommendations how to improve the two-track structure of JI, additionality, governance and the role of the JISC, as well as ERU conversion and transfer.
