Global Carbon BV has signed a contract for rendering JI consultancy services with OJSC “Shchurovsky Cement Plant”, Kolomna, Moscow Region, Russia on the 3rd of October, 2008
Global Carbon has signed a contract for rendering JI consultancy services with OJSC “Shchurovsky Cement Plant” on the 3rd of October 2008.
The JI project envisages switching the cement production technology from a wet to a more efficient dry process resulting in the overall reduction of energy consumption during cement production. This will reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases of approximately 275,000 tonnes of CO2e per year.
